These General Terms and Conditions apply to every offer made by the entrepreneur and to every distance contract concluded between the entrepreneur and the user.
By creating an account or purchasing a membership, the user explicitly agrees to these terms and conditions.
These terms and conditions always take precedence over any terms and conditions of the other contracting party.
The offer contains a complete and accurate description of the services and digital content provided.
In the case of an Inspirator/Partner membership, the application to publish a page will be processed as soon as the user indicates that the content is complete. The actual publication date is independent of the membership start date; the user can use the platform immediately from the date of purchase. We strive for a processing time for publication within 14 days, depending on the submission of the correct data.
The agreement is concluded at the moment the user accepts the offer and complies with the conditions set out therein.
For digital payments (such as Bancontact, Credit Card, iDEAL), the agreement is concluded immediately once the payment provider successfully approves the transaction. In the case of bank transfers, the agreement is concluded upon written or electronic confirmation by the entrepreneur.
The consumer has the right to withdraw from the agreement (such as a paid upgrade) within a period of 14 days without giving reasons. This membership will be refunded free of charge if cancelled within 14 days of account creation.
No memberships will be refunded after these 14 days have passed. Early termination or deletion of a membership does not entitle the user to any interim refund.
Where applicable to physical products: During the cooling-off period, the consumer will handle the product and packaging with care. Opened or damaged packaging where the seal has been broken is excluded from return. The direct costs of returning the goods are borne by the consumer.

The right of withdrawal is excluded for services and digital content where the execution has begun with the consumer’s explicit prior consent before the end of the withdrawal period, and where the consumer has acknowledged that they thereby lose their right of withdrawal (such as immediately using the paid features of the logbook).
All prices stated on the platform include VAT for consumers, unless explicitly stated otherwise (such as in the B2B environment for Partners).
Prices will not be increased during the term of the current membership, except for statutory VAT changes. Price adjustments for subsequent terms will be communicated in advance.
The entrepreneur will observe the greatest possible care in the execution of the services and the provision of access to the digital platform.
Amounts due for memberships must be paid immediately via the online payment methods provided.
If a consumer fails to pay on time, the entrepreneur will send a first reminder free of charge. The consumer is then given 14 calendar days to settle the payment.
If payment is still not made after these 14 days, statutory late-payment interest and a fixed compensation fee will be charged in accordance with Belgian law (Code of Economic Law). For outstanding amounts up to €150, this compensation fee is capped at a maximum of €20.
For professional users (B2B), late payments will automatically incur an interest rate of 10% per year from the due date without prior notice, as well as a fixed compensation fee of 10% of the outstanding amount, with a minimum of €40.
Prior Agreement: By creating an account and accepting these General Terms and Conditions, the User (Explorer/Partner/Inspirator) and Soundcheck.life explicitly enter into a self-billing agreement. This means that Soundcheck.life will generate invoices or credit notes in the name of and on behalf of the User for the commissions or credits they have earned that qualify for payout.
Generation and Timeline: Invoices will be automatically generated by the Soundcheck.life system and made available digitally to the User after the end of the period in which the credits became claimable. These documents comply with legal VAT requirements and contain the mandatory statement "Invoice issued by customer" (Self-billing).
Acceptance and Disputes: The User has a period of fourteen (14) calendar days from the invoice date to dispute the generated invoice with justification via email (info@soundcheck.life). If no objection is made within this period, the invoice is deemed irrevocably accepted by the User.
Tax Responsibility: The User is solely responsible for providing correct, complete, and up-to-date information regarding their tax status (such as VAT-liable, exempt under the small business scheme, or private individual/non-VAT-liable) in their account profile. The User remains fully responsible at all times for the accuracy of the invoice regarding their VAT position and for the eventual reporting and payment of any taxes or VAT due to the competent tax authorities. Soundcheck.life can never be held liable for incorrect VAT statuses or tax omissions made by the User.
Complaints about the execution of the agreement must be submitted fully and clearly described via info@soundcheck.life within a reasonable time after the user has discovered the defects.
Submitted complaints will be answered within a period of 14 days from the date of receipt.
Distance contracts and agreements between the entrepreneur and the user are exclusively governed by Belgian law.
Any dispute between the parties shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the judicial district where the registered office of the entrepreneur is located (Dendermonde/Ghent).
The European Commission provides a platform for online dispute resolution for consumers, which can be found at: http://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/
